Good afternoon! Two posts in one day, oh my!  I have another creation I am entering into the March 30 - April 5 Anything Goes (week 5) Challenge with Paper Smooches.  I upcycled an item for this entry. I am still working on the Teacher Appreciation gifts and made this little notebook. I used double-stick tape to attach the cardstock to coasters I found in the dollar bin at Target. My daughter picked the Paper Smooches Bee Mine stamp set out last year for her Valentine's last year; isn't that bee cute?! I used the Cinch to bind together the covered coasters.  I hope you have time to hop on over to Paper Smooches and look at all the crafty creations! http://www.papersmoochesstamps.com/

March 14, 2014 Good morning! Wow,  it has been way too long since I have posted on my blog.  I have been volunteering at my son and daughter's school a lot this school year. Most of the projects I have worked on are bulletin board/craft related. I will try and post some of the bulletin boards I worked on in another post. Today, however, I am posting a more recent project I just finished. I like adding some craftiness to plain notebooks using Cricut shapes and creating pockets for the notebook.  On this project I used purple vinyl and created the word: Create. The inside of the journal has four pockets. I used the Cinch and Kraft scrapbook paper, as well as Create a Critter cartridge for the animals on each pocket.  On the crab and whale pocket I used an EK paper punch to create the waves, I then had sewn the waves to the cardstock. With the crab and fox pocket I used another EK paper punch to create the grass, I also had sewn the grass to the pocket.  Happy Fun Friday
