Playing  Catch-up Good afternoon! I am posting a few crafts I had made in the last few weeks. The first one: I used Cricut vinyl to create a Skeleton Day shirt for myself and my daughter.  A couple weeks ago the school had Storybook Parade. The kids choose a character from heir favorite book and dress-up like the character on parade day. The kids march along the halls and into the cafeteria for everyone to see them dressed up as their character and showing their favorite book. That was their dress-up day. This coming Friday is Halloween and the school will be learning all about skeletons (Skeleton Day).  Here is the tag I made for my daughter. It was to go with her Storybook Parade costume.  Below is one side of a posterboard I have been working on. The school has an annual fundraiser with Boosterthon called FUNRUN. We cheer on the kids as they do their laps around the track to earn money per pledge. Below is the posterboard I am working on........
Good afternoon! Today I put together a Fall wreath for my daughter's teacher. Here are the steps I took to create it: I wrapped a 12 inch foam wreath with yarn, this took a little over an hour.  I used my Gypsy to cut out the words Happy Fall and the turkey shape. I welded the words Happy Fall together with the shadow lettering and then used normal font for the top layer.  ROSETTE: turkey body: 1      x 12                    1 1/4 x 12                    1 1/4 x 12                    1       x 12 Score each of the pieces at 1/2 inch.  Attach scored pieces in the same order as above, starting with one side and attach the remaining piece to the remaining side forming a 1/2 rosette. Half a 1 inch circle punch can be glued to the front of the rosette to secure the shape, ...

Good afternoon! Two posts in one day, oh my!  I have another creation I am entering into the March 30 - April 5 Anything Goes (week 5) Challenge with Paper Smooches.  I upcycled an item for this entry. I am still working on the Teacher Appreciation gifts and made this little notebook. I used double-stick tape to attach the cardstock to coasters I found in the dollar bin at Target. My daughter picked the Paper Smooches Bee Mine stamp set out last year for her Valentine's last year; isn't that bee cute?! I used the Cinch to bind together the covered coasters.  I hope you have time to hop on over to Paper Smooches and look at all the crafty creations! http://www.papersmoochesstamps.com/
