Kawaii Krafts

Good afternoon everyone! I am wrapping up all Valentine's Day treats/holders for my kiddos today. I made a little Valentine's Day treat holder out of a tag from the Cricut TBBM (Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More) cartridge. I measured the bottom portion of the tag and cut a piece of Kraft cardstock and had sewn that to the tag. After I added the grass (used a Fiskars border punch), lake, grass, lily pad, and frog (all from Create a Critter) I used the We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper to round off the bottom of the tag. I used a stamp from Stampin' Up from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and then attached the dragonfly I cut from the Create a Critter cartridge. The little eyes on the dragonfly are bling from iRock. Hope you like it. Good evening everyone!!! I got a little crafty today and made TWO projects.:0) The first is a little shadow box that has been sitting around my craftroom for a while. I am so glad that I finally made something to put in it.:0) My thoughts for this is.....try and make a seasonal shadow box. I know it isn't that close to Spring yet....but the weather in south TX tells me otherwise. lol Ok.....here is what I used for the shadow box.... Good Morning !!! Here is a bag I decorated for my son to take to school for Valentine's Day. I used (patterned) DCWV paper as well as (plain) Recollections paper. Wow! Two posts in one day....whew! I had a layout in my head and really wanted to create it. Ever been there? I saw a post on a blog a while back....I want to say Inking Idaho....but can't remember. Anywho....they used (thin) corkboard as an embellishment. I used a Spellbinders die my friend sent me for my birthday today.....with corkboard I found at Michael's last year. I was surprised how well the Spellbinders cut through it.
