July 23, 2011 mini-blackboard (teacher meet and greet)

Here is a chalkboard I jazzed up a bit. I made this for my son's teacher meet and greet. My friend Kathy suggested I write the teacher's name on the board, I think that will look cute.;0) I used Simply Charmed on all the shapes. The cardstock used was all (old) SU. Can you tell I am using (a lot) of old cardstock:P I am trying really had to go through it, really I am.:0) Ok, here is the project. Enjoy the rest of your weekend:0)

Here is a birthday card I created for my son. I used Base Camp and Create A Critter. I used the gypsy to weld the numbers together.

July 23, 2011 Lapdesk for Car

I found a cute pink lapdesk at Michael's for my daughter. I added a little Hello Kitty and Simply Charmed to it. The letters in her name were used with Sesame Street Friends.

July 22, 2011 Refrigerator Magnets

This is my second attempt at making refrigerator magnets. The top picture is of the CD sleves I found at the Y100 store in Japan. If you have a local Japanese store, they may carry this item. In downtown Houston there is a FIT store located in the Asian district, they may carry it as well. I used the scrapbook paper that is in this picture. I really like it A LOT:0) I found the craft punch at Archiver's in Katy, TX; I am sure you can find it in your local craft store. Have a great weekend everyone:0)

July 21, 2011 Cat (thank you) card

Here is a card I made today. I used all (old) SU cardstock, with the exception of of the Recollections black cardstock. I used the Meow Lite cartridge for the first time. It is really cute. I used the Gypsy to weld the bottom layer together to form a card.

Yes, that was not a misprint; Halloween. I am still working on my (old) SU paper stash. The cute little alien is from B is for Boy.

July 19, 2011 Welcome Back (Teacher Basket)

Here is a little basket my son helped me put together. We attached lollipop sticks to the shapes. The shapes are from....Hello Kitty Greetings, CreateACritter, and Doodlecharms. The paper is from (older) SU, white cardstock (Walmart), and DCWV (The Green Stack). The border punch is my new toy from Michael's (Martha Stewart). Have a great day!!!:0)
