September 28, 2011 Princess and Starfish Cards

Good afternoon everyone!!! I ordered some super cute (kawaii) stamps from Sister Stamps last week and can not wait till they get here!!!! I am going to use the stamps to make our Christmas cards. If you haven't heard of the company, their stamps are available thru Pineapple Cove. Here are two cards I have been working on the past couple of days. I made about 15 of each so I can send them out to relatives with my kiddos pix.:0) Here is what I used to make the cards: Princess Card i-rock stickles ribbon: Michael's punches: Marvey Uchida paper: (old) SU stamp: Recollections (Princess)/Michael's ink: Color Box - black copic markers: peach, dark pink, skin white, an ddark suntan Starfish Card star shape: B is for Boy cartridge cardstock: Recollections (spice market)/ Michael's punch: round and scallop both Marvy Uchida ink: Color Box - black stamp: SU Fishy Friends emboss: Sizzix copic: lemon yellow Have a great day and thanks for looking:)

September 24, 2011 Fall Wreath (first wreath)

Hello!!! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. It is a nice sunny day here is North Houston. I finally made my first wreath! I think I may make seasonal ones that I can change....we will see. :0) First, for laughs....I bouht a raffia wreath at Michael's. I should have taken a picture of it for a "What not to do" blog spot.:P I accidentally cut the plastic part that held it together. It was quite a sight. September 14, 2011 Thanksgiving Cards

Good Morning!!! Here is the Thanksgiving card I have been working on. I don't know why....but I find cards a challenge to make. September 12, 2011 Halloween (teacher) treat pails and basket ornament

Good morning!!! Here are a few crafts I just finished. I wanted to make my son's para and teacher a pail for their Halloween treats to go in. Aren't the clear pails the best containers?!!!! September 7, 2011 Halloween Pencil Toppers

Here is a cute little character my son picked out to use as a pencil topper. I took a few pix, kinda of a photo tutorial. I am pretty sure this is some sort of ribbon paper punch...but this is what I use it for.: I like making little pencil toppers to jazz them up a bit.:O) Here is what I used to create them: Cardstock: (old) SU Cartridge: MiniMonsters Paper punch: McGills Double-sided tape: Scotch Ok, I guess I will be making ..... oh 30+ of these lil' guys tomorrow. Good afternoon!!!! Yesterday I made some cards for my son's teacher. I found a cute (old school) white pencil box at Michael's. It cost less than $2.00. I decorated the outside of the box using the same paper I put on the notecards. September 2, 2011 MiniComposition Notebooks-Snail

Good evening!!!! Today I made some mini-composition notebooks with snails on them . I think  I need to get some more of the notebooks, my 10 little ones are now finished. ha! They are so cute:0) On the notebooks I used: patterened cardstocock: DCWV Green Stack plain cardstock: (old) SU cartridges: oval scallop and oval (Lacey Labels)                   snail ( Paisley) ribbon: I am pretty sure is from Michael's Hope you all have a great three day weekend!!!:0)

September 1, 2011 Halloween Pail and Mini-composition Notebooks

Good Afternoon!!! I am working on some treats for my son's teacher and para. I made two mini-composition notebooks and a Halloween pail. I found the composition notebooks on clearance at Target. The pail I bought at Michael's (using a 40% off coupon).:0) First, on the notebooks I used: plain cardstock (old) SU shape from Mini-monsters embossing from Mini-monsters folder ribbon is from Wal-mart   Next on the Halloween pail I used:  pail from Michael's old (SU) cardstock cartridges used: Minimonsters (lamp post, haunted house, bat in tree) Camp Out (howling wolf) Everyday Paper dolls (clouds) Have a great night!
