August 30, 2011 Cuttlebug Acetate Key Ring Template

Good evening everyone!!! I had enough plastic to make some sample templates for a little key ring. First of all, I am sure what I did voids any warranty. lol jk In other words...you may want to use an old punch. I have the punch I used in one of the pictures. It cut through the thin plastic I had.  I used most (I didn't have enough plastic) of the embossing folders that I have to make sample templates. I used the crop-a-dile to punch a hole in the plastic pieces. I love that thing.....you can even punch holes in wooden popsicle sticks!!!:0) I am going to use this as a sample to see which embossing folder I want to use on a project.:0)

August 29, 2011 Composition Notebook -Redo-

Good Morning!!! I started working on a composition notebook this past weekend for my son's teacher. This is what I came up with... I found some composition notebooks at Target last week for $.40. I picked up four notebooks to bling up a bit. I am still working on the other three, I hope to post them this week. Instructions: For front and back of book: apply light layer of Mod Podge glue, place precut cardstock to notebook. Once dry, cut excess paper (if there is any). Apply a light layer of Mod Podge on both sides of notebook. This makes the notebook a little more sturdy. Once both sides are dry, embelishments are added. I ran the ribbon thru the xyron sticker maker and it applied to the composition notebook without a problem. I placed a ribbon on both sides of the notebook. The acetate was run thru the cuttlebug. I used a glue pen (ZIG) on the areas where the die was pronounced, then added MS glitter. Hope you all are having a great day:0) edit note...anyone not

August 24, 2011 Simple Dog Card

Hello! Last night I went to Joann's and found this cute EK paw border punch. I thought, if anything, I could use it on a notecard during Teacher Appreciation.  This is what I used to create the simple dog card. All plain cardstock (old) SU. The plaid cardstock is from DCWV Pet Stack. The ribbon is from Michael's. I think the dog needs a litle stiching and maybe I can find a cute sentiment for the tag. .... this is what I have so far:0) Have a great day!

August 11, 2011 Cuttlebug Tip

Good morning! I started on a craft this morning and could not figure out what Cuttlebug embossing folder I wanted to use. I used a (recycled) piece of acetate  (plastic cover) and ran it through the Cuttlebug and this is what I came up with. I think I am going to do this with all my folders so I can use the same concept later. Have a great day!

August 9, 2011 Birthday and Snail Mail Card

Here are three cards I made yesterday (and forgot to post...oops!). All solid cardstock is from (old) SU. The plaid cardstock is from DCWV -Animal Crackers (cute-huh?). With the oval lace card and the scallop circle card I used Lacey Labels, I welded the shapes together with the gypsy. I am going to have to go back and find where I got the "postage stamp" shape from. With the two birthday cards I ran the sentiment through the cuttlebug. On the blue card, the top (clear, plastic)  is acetate from the cricut box. I had no idea you could run plastic through the cuttlebug.:0) The little snail is from Create a Critter. Have a great day!

August 8, 2011 Dinosaur Card and Monkey Card and more bling:0)

I added some orange stickles on the volcano and some stiching, as well as a little birthday banner.

Here are two cards I made today using the Create a Critter cartridge. The alligator was used with all (old) SU cardstock. The zebra was used with (old) SU cardstock as well as Recollections (black) and GP (GeorgiaPacific-white) cardstock. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the cards.

August 5th and 6th, 2011 Fish bowl cards

Here are two cards I was working on this am and last night. One is a little more plain than the other, it doesn't have embossing or glitter. Both cards I used (old) SU cardstock. I used the cuttlebug to emboss the water and fish. All shapes were cut using the Create a Critter cartridge. The glitter used was from MS.
